A CHF 10.- fee will be charged if you change to another class to cover extra admin work.

LANGUAGE

Our classes are mainly taught in English but if we have students who do not understand English, we teach in French as well. All Ballet terms are in French.

Many clients have said that their children's English has improved or they have picked up a good amount from our classes. English speakers are happy to find other English speaking friends.

UNIFORM

For the trial class, if you do not have any ballet clothes already, students can wear leggings or a skirt and a t-shirt and socks.

โ€‹

Do not buy any new clothes for the trial class as we have a set uniform for our classes, which will be available in our online shop at the end of August.

โ€‹

We have specific leotards, skirts and shoes so please don't buy these items elsewhere.

Manoela

Teacher

๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ท Oi pessoal!

My name is Manoela and I’m originally from Brazil.

โ€‹

I moved to Europe 12 years ago to finish my dance studies in London with the English National Ballet School. Since then I have been working with international companies such as Zürich Ballet, Bayerisches Staatsballett Munich and currently I’m dancing with the Béjart Ballet here in Lausanne.

โ€‹

It’s a privilege to share this art form that shaped my life and career onto the new generation.

โ€‹

My aim is to teach dance in a creative and fun way so our students can be more confident with their bodies, learn discipline and at the same time experience freedom through movement.

I’m excited to be joining the Piri Ballet family this year as a ballet teacher and to see the progress of our students.

Federica

Teacher

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น  Ciao!

My name is Federica and I was born in Italy. I started classical ballet at age 3. I attended “Accademia Cecchetti” in Italy where I successfully passed various exams in the Cecchetti ballet method.

In 2016, I’ve started giving classes at my school and I enjoyed teaching so much that I decided to pursue my studies in dance teaching. I obtained my “DDI”, Diploma in Dance Instruction by ISTD London. Since then I have resumed my training as a dance teacher, as I want to continually improve.

In 2017, I joined the dance company “Area Jeune Ballet” in Geneva, where I had the opportunity to work and perform with many international choreographers.

โ€‹

I am excited to be part of the Piri Ballet team because it represents my values in teaching: Helping children make great progress in a positive environment!
